Dear Stonefields Community

We wanted to share an update with residents about a new development to take place at Stonefields

As you know, Todd Property has been preparing to undertake a new development on Barbarich Drive, in an area we call Stage 9.

The development involves the construction of 21 two and three-level terraced homes on the sloping land between Magma Crescent and Barbarich Drive.

These homes will built in a style that’s similar to other nearby terraces – please see the attached artistic image

Shortly, we will begin civil works to clear the site, including the excavation and removal of surplus earth and rock, followed by the construction of retaining walls, parking bays, stormwater, utility services and landscaping.

As with many developments at Stonefields, part of the civil works will include the removal of an isolated pocket of existing basalt rock.

We anticipate that the civil works will get underway shortly, and continue until mid-2018, with house building to begin shortly afterwards.

Under our resource consent, we will have in place strict conditions around working times, traffic management, earthworks and earth/rock excavation.
